About RetireOdds
RetireOdds is an independent retirement planner built to answer one question honestly: will your money last? No sales funnel into managed products, no data brokering — just a clear, transparent simulation of your financial future.
Why RetireOdds exists
Most retirement tools fall into one of two camps. Either they're free front-ends designed to funnel you toward someone managing your money for a fee, or they're spreadsheets so complex that you stop trusting the output. Both leave the same question unanswered: given everything I have and everything I plan to spend, what are the odds I actually make it?
RetireOdds was built to answer that directly. It brings your net worth, portfolio, spending, and tax picture into one view, then runs a 1,000-path Monte Carlo simulation — in today's dollars — so you get a real probability, not a single optimistic line on a chart. The full method is documented openly on the methodology page, because a number about your future is only worth as much as your ability to check how it was produced.
What we stand for
- Your data is yours. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. You can export everything and walk away at any time — no lock-in. See the pricing page for that commitment in writing.
- Transparent math. The simulation engine, its assumptions, and its limits are all written down. If you disagree with an assumption, you can change it and re-run.
- Built for real lives. Including the messy ones — multiple currencies, expat taxes, Social Security timing, and spending that flexes with the market.
- Independent. RetireOdds isn't owned by a brokerage or an asset manager. It has no incentive to nudge you toward any particular product.
Who's behind it
Mayur is a product leader who has spent his career building consumer finance and technology products used by hundreds of millions of people. He has led product at global fintech companies — including as SVP of Product & Design at Binance and Chief Product Officer at N26 — and built and scaled products earlier at Google (Gmail and Hangouts), Microsoft, Agoda, Hiya, and Bybit.
He built RetireOdds as an independent project, out of a simple frustration: the tools that answer "will my money last?" are usually either sales funnels for managed products or spreadsheets too complex to trust. RetireOdds is his attempt to give people a clear, honest, and transparent answer — with the same product care he's brought to apps used around the world.
