These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RetireOdds, a wealth and retirement planning application provided by RetireOdds ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RetireOdds.
Important: RetireOdds is a planning and educational tool, not a financial, investment, tax, or legal advisor. Its projections — including Monte Carlo simulations — are estimates based on assumptions you provide and on historical or modeled data. They are not a guarantee of future results. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use RetireOdds. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your authentication credentials (including any passkey or device used to sign in) secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization. The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Acceptable use
When using RetireOdds, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to access another user's account or data;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach its security or authentication measures, except through a responsible-disclosure process we authorize;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service;
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except as permitted by law;
- Use automated means to scrape or overload the service or the market-data feeds it relies on.
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the financial information and other content you enter into RetireOdds ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We handle Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Market data and third-party information
RetireOdds displays prices, exchange rates, and other market information obtained from third-party providers. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and is provided "as is." We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data or for decisions you make based on it.
6. No financial advice
RetireOdds does not provide investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the service should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to adopt any financial strategy. Simulations and projections are illustrative only. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
7. Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also add or remove features. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Fees
Some features of RetireOdds may be offered free of charge, and others may require payment. If paid features are introduced, the applicable pricing and billing terms will be presented to you before you incur any charge.
9. Termination
You may stop using RetireOdds and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that projections will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RetireOdds and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, or data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RetireOdds from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of RetireOdds after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where RetireOdds is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection law.
